Steve is a respected figure in the local music scene with a longstanding connection to David Morgan that dates back to 1982, when he was interviewed for a position by David himself.

When the opportunity arose to become a David Morgan Music Trust trustee, Steve eagerly accepted the chance to get involved.

Before his retirement, Steve served as the head of music and later as the assistant headteacher at North Bromsgrove High School. He has extensive experience conducting a variety of choirs and ensembles. Currently, he is the organist at St. John’s Church in Bromsgrove and is music director for the Barnt Green Choral Society and chair of Bromsgrove Arts Alive.

He and fellow David Morgan Music Trust trustee, Anita Porter, established our Player’s Platform, giving young musicians the opportunity to perform.

In addition, Steve is a trustee of Bromsgrove Community Arts, where he helps manage the Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove.
